Today, it rained.

Due to the presence of a giant hole in the ground in the backyard, there is a great deal of mud.

You can imagine the chaos -- and the mess -- that has ensued.

All I can say is: Thank heavens we're due to get new carpeting in the Main Living Room before autumn this year.

You know, carpeting -- that fuzzy stuff on the floor that used to be white.
